You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently collecting biological specimens, such as blood, urine, and swabs, from patients for laboratory testing. Strict adherence to collection protocols is required to ensure specimen integrity and patient safety.

• Collect biological specimens from patients following established procedures and protocols.
• Label and prepare specimens for transportation to the laboratory.
• Verify patient information and ensure proper documentation of specimen collection.
• Maintain cleanliness and sterility of collection equipment and areas.
• Educate patients on the specimen collection process and address any concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations during specimen collection.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of collection supplies and request replenishments as needed.

• At least a high school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare training or certification is a plus.
• Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician or related field is preferred.
• Experience in specimen collection or a related healthcare role.
• Knowledge of specimen handling and safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a clinical environment and interact with patients professionally.
• Willingness to undergo further training as required.
